Abstract
GigaSpaces Enterprise Application Grid (EAG) is designed to bring the value of Grid i.e. scalability, performance, efficiency at a low cost to Business Critical transactional applications using the JavaSpaces technology. As such it leverages the value of Jini and JavaSpaces as a programming model that fits natively to Grid architecture and adds a unique virtualization layer for messaging (JMS) and Data (JDBC, Caching) middleware. J2EE and non-J2EE applications can fit seamlessly into this framework.
This session will also cover the unique GigaSpaces clustering model for achieving scalability and high-availability as well as specific case studies that demonstrate how this technology is applied today in Financial, Telecom and Business Intelligence applications.
