  • Apr 27, 2005 - Inca X announces the beta release of their new Community Edition Eclipse plugin for Jini 2.1Beta.
  • April 6, 2005 - Inca X announces the release of a Jini 2.1 version of the Inca X "JavaSpaces Starter Kit" IDE and Inca X Service Browser.
  • March 7, 2005 - Inca X has released v4.5 of the Inca X Browser. New features allow you to view the codebase URLs of your services and the contents of the codebase JAR files.
  • January 18, 2005 - Inca X announces the availability of v3.5 of their Community Edition IDE for Jini technology.

2004

  • December 8, 2004 - GigaSpaces announces the availability of its GigaSpaces Enterprise Application Grid, Version 4.0.
  • November 29, 2004 - Paremus today announced the addition of Quadrus Financial Technologies, Inc. and Sun Microsystems, Inc. to the recently revealed Infiniflow Utility Datacenter Ecosystem (UDE).
  • November 4, 2004 - Inca X announces the release of Version 3.0 of the Inca X Community Edition IDE. This includes support for building projects/services with Apache Ant and much more. Inca X has also packaged the v3.0 IDE release, service browser v4.0, JavaSpaces edition v3.0, and XME tools into a single download.
  • October 13, 2004 - Valen Technologies Teams With Sun Microsystems to Deliver Grid Computing Solutions for the Insurance Industry. Valen and Sun will jointly provide Valen's decision enabling software running on a proven Jini technology-based Grid computing infrastructure.
  • October 8, 2004 - Inca X announces the release of Version 4.0 of the Inca X Service Browser.
  • October 5, 2004 - Majitek released InterMajik Community Edition 1.1.
  • September 2, 2004 - Paremus selects Blitz JavaSpaces for Infiniflow enterprise grid. Financial services distributed systems specialist provides commercial support for open source project.
  • August 23, 2004 - Inca X announces the availability of its JavaSpaces Starter Edition. This free download includes GigaSpaces, Blitz, and more than 20 JavaSpaces examples, all configured and ready to run.
  • August 09, 2004 - Psinaptic announces a new licensing agreement with Modius Inc. Modius will integrate JMatos and CMatos into their e-Guardian software platforms to be sold as a combined software solution to Modius customers.
  • August 04, 2004 - Inca X announces the availability of its Service Browser, v3.0. This version includes a new Services view that shows only one instance of each service, a new Lookup service event history view, and a new name attribute filter.
  • July 29, 2004 - Paremus chooses Jini Technology for grid computing. "After Java(TM), we consider Jini to be the most important technology development ever released by Sun Microsystems," said Dr. Richard Nicholson, CTO Paremus.
  • July 22, 2004 - Inca X announces mobile service browser for Jini Technology. The Inca X Mobile Service Browser for MIDP devices allows users to view and browse Jini services from cellphones and PDAs.
  • July 16, 2004 - Inca X announces the availability of the DCMS plugin for Inca X, which allows you to run this workflow admin client from the Inca X IDE or EE Admin Client.
  • June 26, 2004 - Inca X announces v2.5 of the Inca X browser.
  • June 25, 2004 - CANARIE to demonstrate first-of-its-kind software to European Union Delegates in Ottawa.
  • June 8, 2004 - Psinaptic, Inc. announces the integration of CMatos with CSR BlueCore2 Bluetooth chip.
  • May 25, 2004 - Inca X announces that the Blitz JavaSpace now ships with the latest release (v2.1) of their free Community Edition IDE.
  • May 17, 2004 - Majitek today announced that it has entered into a technology partnership with Psinaptic INC., and will shortly be releasing a powerful new Micro Meem Development Tool.
  • May 15, 2004 - Inca X announces the release of X ME, a new visual platform for J2ME and Jini integration.

  • July 9, 2001: Anest Software, Inc. announces the "AnestFramework Client - Service UI Edition", which includes full support for the Jini Service UI AWT Toolkit: Panels, Frames and Windows. This means you'll be able to run it on a handheld as soon as the RMI and Personal profiles are available.
