Installation Instructions

  • If you have already downloaded the Java 2 SDK, you can use the jar command included in the bin directory of the SDK: jar xvf jini2_1.zip
  • If you are on a UNIX platform, you can use a UNIX version of unzip: unzip jini2_1.zip
  • If you are on a Microsoft Windows platform, you can use the unzipping tool of your choice.
Notes
  • The zip file extracts into a directory named jini2_1.
  • In a console window, change to the directory where you downloaded jini2_1.zip before running the above commands.
