Events Calendar

Events that might be of interest to the Jini Community but that aren't sponsored by the community are listed on the Events Calendar.

Introduction

The Jini Community sponsors many different types of events for learning, for sharing of ideas or for just getting to know other community members. A wide variety of events are available throughout the year and at different location. Some events are available online as "webcasts". Webcasts are online meetings or presentations designed to meet the needs of community members, pulling down the barriers of geography! Webcast archives allow you to view presentations at your convenience, eliminating issues of schedules and time zones.

Community Meetings

Jini Community Meetings are "in-person gatherings" consisting of keynotes, presentations, discussions, debates, and collaborations. These are opportunities for learning and networking. The locations vary, but are always worth the trip!

Webinars

The Jini Community Webinar Series is an ongoing set of online events to provide recurring opportunities to explore new areas and stay in touch with things happening with Jini technology and the Jini Community. Join in!

For each live Webinar event, presenter(s) will walk through a set of slides that will be made available, and you can listen in to the event either through a phone call-in number, or a web audio stream. You can make comments or ask questions to the presenter(s) by sending email. The audio will be recorded and made available, so if you miss the live event - you can still benefit from the Webinar event.

Webcasts

Webcasts are online meetings or presentations designed to meet the needs of community members, pulling down the barriers of geography and sometimes time zone issues too! Webcast programs are generally about an hour in length.
