Introduction

This was another great Jini Community Meeting, carrying on our tradition of interesting presentations, exploratory conversations, and meeting new people and companies who are of like mind and have discovered (or are discovering!) the power of Jini technology to build dynamic, adaptive systems.

The Meeting ran for two full days (and nights!) and was held at the Brewery, a unique and interesting (the former Whitbread Brewery) meeting place in central London. Presentations spanned a variety of subjects, including: technical, philosophical, business, research areas, commercial product offerings, Jini.org projects, the Grid space, 'how to', licensing, 'lessons learned', etc. There were around 125 attendees (we cap attendance to ensure the right mix and feel at the Meeting) from all over Europe, and 15 countries in total.

In summary.. a thought provoking, interesting, and charged gathering in one of the most extraordinary cities in the world - leaving us excited and enthused about Jini technology and the Jini Community.
